TLG performed construction management services for building construction, modernization, and engineering activities at the George S Patton Army Reserve Center in Bell, California. This project included the extensive modernization of four large existing buildings for the Army Corps of Engineers. The project involved every facet of construction and modernization work, including: concrete and paving construction; water system, sewer system, various piping, and plumbing upgrades; demolition and debris removal; permitting and regulatory compliance; building, roadway, walkway, and parking structure construction; fence construction; construction of various walls and slabs; compaction and recycling; construction and engineering designs; electrical and telecommunications upgrades; lighting; signage; fire protection and alarm systems upgrades; and underground utility and distribution system modernizations, retrofits, and relocations.
University Gateway Housing Project

Certification of
Methane Barrier |
TLG provided quality assurance/quality control services during the installation of a methane mitigation system at the University Gateway Housing Project located at the northwest intersection of Figueroa Street and Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, California. TLG observed the installation, testing and certification of the Level II A passive subsurface methane gas mitigation System for the 180,000 square foot building footprint. All subsurface trenching, piping, gravel backfill and cover, and the methane barrier system were inspected to ensure that the components were in stalled in accordance with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety Standard Research Report for Liquid Boot 500, Manufacturer’s specifications, and design drawings.

TLG is currently providing a siting study for El Paso Electric Company’s LE1 Substation and Associated 115kV Transmission Loop in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The scope of work includes providing integrated environmental planning and NEPA compliance services supporting public participation, land surveys, and land acquisition activities. We are assisting El Paso Electric Company with selecting the optimum route for the LE1-115kV Project, performing NEPA compliance and associated environmental assessment activities, and performing required land appraisals/acquisition and other needed permitting activities. All project tasks will integrate environmental studies and siting with public and agency participation activities. This project will involve comprehensive and complex mitigation planning and monitoring as part of the siting study and construction of the proposed facilities.
